Cellular Respiration

Summarize


Cellular respiration is very fascinating because it acts like a mirror image is photosynthesis and it also make ATP by breaking down sugar. it all starts when the cellar respiration releasing the chemical energy from sugar and other molecule to make ATP when there is oxygen.then the aerobic, a part of the cellular respiration takes place in the mitochondria.after the glycolysis splits glucose into 2/3 of the carbon molecule o double the amount of molecule of ATP.


What I Learn

What i learn in this section is plants and animals needs a direct source of energy,but food doesn't.glycolysis and anaerobic doesn't need oxygen,however, glycolysis is needed for cellular respiration. photosynthesis and cellular respiration are kind of opposite because photosynthesis needs energy to make glucose while cellular respiration uses glucose to actually create energy.

Summarize

This section is about aerobic respiration that takes place in the mitochondria. glycolysis takes place in a cytoplasm cell. unlike the rest of aerobic respiration,the glycolysis doesn't need oxygen. 

What I Learn

What i learn in this section is glycolysis is an proceeding process in all cells.it takes place in cytoplasm before cellular respiration.glycolysis makes 4 ATP molecules, and 2 ATP molecule are used to split glucose molecule.

Summarize

Oxygen is needed in the end process to pick up the elections that have gone through the chain. hydrogen ions accumulate on the inside of the inner mitochondrial membrane.cytochrome is the proteins in the electron transport chain.energy from the Krebs cycle is used to produce ATP.


What I Learn

What i learn in this section is the electron transport chain. the electron transport chain is a process in which the NADH and [FADH2produced during glycolysis.The electron carriers are reduced during glycolysis and the citric acid cycle.

Leaves and Photosynthesis.

Mango tree:
Based on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mango ,mango are juicy stone fruit (drupe) from numerous species of tropical trees belonging to the flowering plant genus Mangifera.Mango trees grow to 35–40 m (115–131 ft) tall, with a crown radius of10 m (33 ft). Mango trees have simple alternate lanceolate leaves that are12 to 16 inches in length and yellow-green, purple, or copper in color when young. mango trees leaves use a process called photosynthesis to make food, the leaf also use the energy of the sun to change water and carbon dioxide into a sugar called glucose.It depends on the tree's s age, but a mature, healthy mango tree can have 200,000 leaves.












Coconut tree:

Mutations

The organisms I choose is a snake. The snake has a gene that affect the head of the snake, the mutation cause the snake to has two head in one body. The change of this organism will affect other organism by lacking usual food source,population,etc. I think this change is agianst becuase mutation is the change of the gene and is mostly deleterious.

Species

Species

The organisms I choose is flame tree, it came from a family call "Delonix regia from the Fabaceae family(bean family)". Flame tree is also know as Brachychiton acerifolius and is commonly known as the Illawarra flame tree. Flame tree lives in many tropical parts of the world. Closeup of leaves,The royal poinciana, and Flamboyant tree are some example of the organism in it family. Based on https://guam.stripes.com/travel/flame-trees-saipan-ignite-islands-beauty#sthash.LB4jKvTV.dpbs The history  of the first Flame Trees that were brought to Saipan was by the Spanish a few seeds from Madagascar during the period they held sway over the Marianas Islands. Adaptations Blog Entry

Adaptations

This plant is call grass. grass grows in almost any environment.grass survive in its invironment by soil, sunlight,and rain water. Grass provides food and home for many tiny insects and animal like ants, grasshopper,mouse,ect.

The second plant is flame trees. Flame tree is grow in the environment that has warm weather. Flame tree provides homes for many animal like birds.


This organism is known as fish. This fish lives in the ocean. Fish survive in its invironment by eating worms, shrimp, and algae. Fish also provide food for other large sea animals like sharks.

Site Descrition

Site Description: Banzai Cliff

The location of my site is call banzai cliff, an cliff that is above marpi point. It is surrounded by the ocean. The abiotic features the site is ocean, dirt ,flame tree and rocks. The biotic features in this site are fish that is under the water and grass.
